Stellar Repair for MS SQL is an advanced software that helps administrators repair a corrupt SQL database and recover all components like tables, deleted records, keys, triggers, stored procedures, etc.
The latest version 10.5.0.2 of the tool helps perform faster DB repair by allowing to save multiple tables at the same time. In addition, Fast Saving and Advanced Saving modes available in the software enables saving the repaired database as per your requirement. Fast Saving is advisable for large databases, as it performs fast DB repair by saving the repaired data first and then save indexes. Advanced Saving is the recommended mode that saves the data and indexes together.
The software saves the log report of the complete SQL database repair process to analyze the repairing process later.
Key features:
Repairs SQL Database Files
The software fixes corruption in SQL database (.mdf and .ndf) files by scanning and repairing the affected files on Windows and Linux machines. It provides two scan modes, namely Standard Scan and Advanced Scan, to perform the scanning process. Standard Scan is the recommended option to scan and repair SQL database files quickly. Use Advanced Scan to scan and repair severely corrupt database files.
Recover the Deleted Records
Stellar SQL database repair tool provides an ‘Include Deleted Records’ option to recover deleted table records in the repaired database file. After completing the database repair process, the tool displays a preview of the deleted records and other recoverable database objects. Further, the software allows saving the deleted records together with other table records.
Preview the Repaired Database
The software previews the repaired database objects in a tree-like structure. The left pane of the preview window shows tables, views, synonyms, data types, etc. The right pane displays the contents of an object selected in the left pane, and a message log is shown in the bottom pane of the preview window. It is a useful feature that helps validate the accuracy of the repaired data before saving it.
Multiple File Saving Formats
After previewing and selecting the data you want to restore, the software provides options to save the repaired database in New Database, Live Database, or Other Formats. The New Database option helps save the repaired database to a newly created DB located at your specified location. The Live Database option saves the database to an existing database in SQL Server. In addition, you can save the repaired database in CSV, HTML, or XLS file formats by selecting the Other Formats saving option.
Windows & SQL Server Authentication
The software requires you to connect to SQL Server using Windows authentication or SQL Server authentication to save the repaired database. Use the Windows authentication method if you are already logged onto a Windows system and do not want to log on separately to an instance of SQL Server.
Dual Saving Modes to Suit Your Needs
The tool provides two different file saving modes to save the repaired database. Use Fast Saving mode to save the data from a large, corrupted database. This mode helps perform a faster database repair process by saving the data first and then indexes. Use Standard Saving to save the data and indexes at the same time.
Find & Recover Specific Items
SQL database repair software allows you to select and recover specific database objects like tables, views, data types, etc. The tool helps find specific items by entering their name in the Search box that appears after completion of the repair process. In addition, you can select the items listed in the left pane of the software preview window and then click Save on the File menu to restore the selected objects.
Generates & Saves Log Report to Analyze Repair Process
The software automatically generates a log report of the SQL Server database. You can use the report to analyze the DB repair process at a later stage. You can view the log of the repair process at the bottom of the software user interface. If you cannot find the pane, enable it by checking the Log Window checkbox in View section of the View menu.
